The person AI is supposed to reach
built the tools to get there.

29 years as a non-technical practitioner across seven domains is not a biography. It is the dataset. Independent R&D practice out of Chennai — building AI access from the demand side.

Not a technology company.
A research practice that builds things.

Aethics Deacon Nodes was founded by K. Thangamani Prabu — 29 years across mechanical engineering, broadcast television, feature film, photography, voice engineering, and AI systems. No formal training connecting any of them.

The absence of formal boundaries is the point. Research here begins from lived non-technical experience and tests whether that experience can reach back to others in the same position. The goal is not to explain AI — it is to dissolve the access gap entirely.

Gatekeepers between idea and output

Work in progress, not in theory.

LOOP SYSTEM
A closed feedback loop for AI interactions — designed for users who cannot evaluate model output technically. Surfaces signal without requiring interpretation, so non-technical adults can course-correct AI outputs themselves.
AI Access
SPARK ENGINE
Lightweight task orchestration layer that translates natural-language intent into structured AI workflows. Target user: a solo operator with no programming background, running complex multi-step work on a phone.
Workflow
AI_DUB_BY_VOICE
AI-assisted dubbing pipeline for regional-language content, built from production-floor experience in Tamil broadcast and feature film. Preserves emotional register across languages without requiring manual frame-level sync.
Media / Voice
AI WITHOUT GATEKEEPERS
Field research into reaching AI-excluded users — low-bandwidth, low-literacy, interface-adverse environments. Model-agnostic. Documentation-first, open for collaboration.
Open Research

Where the questions live.

AI democratisation for non-technical adults — access, not just literacy
Cross-domain systems design — how different fields solve the same problem
AI-assisted media production workflows for regional-language content
Open-source tooling for independent creators and solo operators
Voice and audio AI for under-resourced language communities
Early-stage mobile hardware for media production logistics (research direction)

What progress looks like from here.

Every project above is running on minimum viable infrastructure. Cloud compute, API access, and institutional partnerships are the difference between research and reach.

Cloud Compute Credits

Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, Render, Cloudflare — compute and inference credits to move prototypes to live testing.

API Access Support

Anthropic, OpenAI, and emerging model providers — extended API access for non-commercial research use.

Startup & Developer Programs

GitHub for Startups, developer ecosystem programs, and MSME-eligible technology benefits.

Research Partnerships

Academic institutions, HCI researchers, and organizations working on AI access for non-English-first communities.

Incubation & Review

Technical review partnerships and incubation programs aligned with AI democratisation and open-source research.

Innovation Funding

Research grants from foundations, government schemes (DST, MeitY), and international bodies funding grassroots AI work.
